“All Black Lives Matter; there are no asterisks!”
This isn’t the typical WGW post, I’m not sure if this week was as “good” as it could’ve been. I say all of this because unfortunately I had to cope with the presence of two new hashtags, Keith Scott and Terence Crutcher. I thought I would have to go to school and pretend that everything was fine when it wasn’t. However, it became apparent to me that I am not the only one who felt his way. Last night, the students at my school had a Black Lives Matter march and there was representation of all people from different backgrounds. Though I am still exhausted from this cycle that seems to have no end, I am exhilarated to be in such an environment with so much support.
