I have a deep affinity for documentaries, especially those that highlight social/racial justice and health disparities. Since my workload is a bit heavier than last semester I don’t have a lot of time to squeeze in full length documentaries so I’ve been watching TED talks instead.
I’m sharing a few of my favorites down below, grab a snack and enjoy!
A prosecutor’s vision for a better justice system | Adam Foss
The problem with race-based medicine | Dorothy Roberts
The little problem I had renting a house | James A. White Sr.
How childhood trauma affects health across a lifetime | Nadine Burke Harris
Why Medicine Often Has Dangerous Side Effects for Women | Alyson McGregor
