Last night, I turned in my last assignment of the semester! I took my Orgo final on Thursday. To be honest, I’m not sure how I did, I’m just glad that it’s finally behind me. I think one of the biggest lessons I learned this semester was to not obsess over everything. Some things are just really out of your control. I also found myself in a bit of depression over the course of the semester. It was hard because it was more aggressive than usual and I’m sure it affected my performance in school. It’s okay though. I gave myself the time I needed and pulled through, but it was hard.
If all goes well, next semester, I’ll be moving on to Orgo II which means I’ll be done with my prereqs for medical school (!!!). I did some soul searching, it looks like I’m going to have to do a masters program so I can be as competitive as possible for med school. Gosh, this journey is long and hard, but I really couldn’t imagine doing anything else. I’m going to take a couple of days to chill, after that, I’m going to pump out some blog posts and work on some student org. things for next semester. Yay for finally having some *free* time!! In the meantime, I’m going to try not to stress myself with final grades because I know I gave it my best shot.
