I’m a senior in college now! I was just thinking about my post from Fall 2016, now 6 semesters later I’m almost done. They say these years are some of the best years of people’s lives… they’re right. I’m so looking forward to what these final two semesters will bring. Anyway, enough of my rambling let’s get into today’s post.
This semester, I’m taking five classes; most of them are gen eds 🙄. Every time I go to one of those classes, I wish I would’ve taken them sooner. The good news is that I’m 90% done with my degree, so I’m really about to be out of here.
Classes I’m Taking
- Biochemistry
- Reading Film
- Intro to Africana Studies
- Contemporary Social Problems
- Elementary Astronomy
This semester is a little lighter than the others as I’m pretty much done with my science courses. I’ll be working and volunteering between classes as well.
Goals
- Finish the semester with at least a 3.8 GPA
- It’s my last year, I want to go out with a bang
- Take MCAT and apply for SMP programs
- I feel so behind as I was supposed to take the MCAT this summer, but I wasn’t ready
- Blog consistently
- Journal consistently
While I am excited to finally see some light at the end of the tunnel, I am a little nervous about what’s coming. If everything goes to plan, it’s very likely that I’ll be moving away from home. Being in college gives somewhat of a safety net from all the things the world brings. I feel like after I graduate, that goes away. Good or bad, I can’t wait to share more about the rest of my undergrad journey with you all!
